Mr. Gary J. Smolarek, President of C*Insight, has more than 22 years of experience. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and has held numerous executive IT positions both domestically and internationally. He has a proven track record for developing and implementing sophisticated technology plans in a variety of industries ranging from consumer products to healthcare. He has successfully conceptualized and brought to market technology offerings leading to revenue growth and competitive advantages through supply chain collaboration; four of these systems hold international trademarks.

Mr. Smolarek has a broad business background having worked with global leaders in the retail area of consumer products, energy&process, aeronautics, construction, healthcare and financial services. He specializes in collaborative strategies and value creation in the retail supply chain, quality assurance, and global sourcing. His business background is complemented with a strong technical background with emphasis on B-to-B collaboration, data warehousing, and knowledge management.

Prior to starting C*Insight, Mr. Smolarek was the Vice President of eBusiness for a world leader in the quality certification, testing and consulting services. His responsibilities included the conceptualization of a comprehensive eBusiness strategy that leveraged the capabilities of a 200-year-old organization with locations in 130 countries. Mr. Smolarek has spoken on the implementation of eBusiness strategies in Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America. He has also written numerous articles for international publication on the broad topic of eBusiness.
